I’m sure you all are eager to compare Carenado’s C210 + REP with a real world Cessna Centurion.
The following video by dhowardair is surely interesting. It shows a cruise onboard N5221A.
N5221A is a 1979 Cessna T210N Turbo Centurion. The only real difference between N5221A and the T210M we fly in the sim are the gear doors.
The “N” version has no gear doors and that leads to a little higher drag in cruise, so we should expect a C210M to be a little faster.
Here are the conditions in the video:
Altitude | 4500 feet |
Manifold Pressure | 28” Hg |
RPM | 2400 |
IAS | 150 kts |
Fuel Flow | 100 lbs/hr (ROP) |
REP’s Numbers
Here two pictures of the C210 + REP in flight at 4500 feet AMSL.
As you can see, REP nails the numbers as expected. The pictures speak for themselves.
What are your numbers?
Speed and FF change with things such temperature, atmospheric pressure and airplane weights.
